FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Is there a weight limit?Yes, our weight limit is 220lbs. However, there are several factors that come into play on how weight affects horses. The main 3 are height, athletic ability, and experience. A lighter rider that slouches and flops on a horse's back is worse than a heavier rider that is balanced and able to physically hold his/her weight evenly by engaging their core. If you are above this weight limit please reach out, we may still be able to accommodate you.

What happens if it rains?Riding in bad weather is no fun. We don't like to ride or haul horses in it. If the weather does not cooperate on your ride day you will be refunded your deposit in full, or it can be applied to another ride on a prettier day. I always reach out to discuss plans when the weather is questionable.

How many people can you take out at once? The maximum group size is 5 riders, but generally only 4 at a time go out. We love this small group size because it is low stress and enjoyable for everyone. No one feels like they are just another person in a line of horses.
